Underground’s 2025 season is underway, and we are extending director applications open for both our productions of Pandaemonium by Abel Taylor & Prehistoric by Marcel Dorney.
Pandaemonium: Satan has a message for you! God is not dead, and He is hellbent on making your so-called sacred present history! In Pandaemonium, Satan flocks to Earth to forewarn the mortals of the imminent End of Days, as sanctioned by God, who is disillusioned with the human race as of late. Who can blame him? It falls on the shoulders of best friends River and Lana to convince God to stop the Apocalypse before it's too late - or before the start of fourth period. Some parameters are given; they have one hour to come up with the argument to save all of humanity, they have been granted access to time machines, and it's best if they make it snappy. Hey, no probs!
Prehistoric: Celebrating the controversial legacy of late-1970s Brisbane with iconoclastic humour, Prehistoric is playful, self-aware, and passionate as four young people come together to form a punk band against the backdrop of the Bjelke-Petersen administration – a very different place from the Brisbane of current day
📭 Applications close on 7th May at 11:59pm for Just for One Day & early August (TBC) for Prehistoric. First time Directors welcome and encouraged.
Application link will be active on 7th March 2025.
